Puzzle Description

Life is Sweet (G2212) is a 100XXL puzzle which measures 49 x 34 centimeters when complete. All 100XXL puzzles and 250XL puzzles have the same measurements as the regular 500 piece puzzles. Life is Sweet is also available as a regular 1000 piece puzzle. All Gibsons jigsaw puzzles are made from 100% recycled premium jigsaw puzzle board and can be made over and over again.

Because cats were venerated in ancient Egypt, they were commonly believed to have been domesticated there, but there may have been instances of domestication as early as the Neolithic from around 9,500 years ago. Results of a genetic study in 2007 showed that all domestic cats descended from the Near Eastern wildcat and diverged around 8000 BC in the Middle East. The leopard cat was domesticated independently in China around 5500 BC, though this line of partially domesticated cats leaves no trace in the domesticated populations of today. A 2017 study confirmed that domestic cats are descendants of those first domesticated by farmers in the Near East around 9,000 years ago.

Linda Jane is somewhat of a cat and/ or dog expert. In this case we are delighted to witness an assembly of cats enjoying all sorts of sweets in a candy store. The cats are both amused and amusing and are quietly getting up to all sorts of feline antics but without really causing too much of a stir. Colourful treats are to be had whether they are in the shape of a mouse or not. It doesn't matter if the delicious treats are behind glass or available to be pawed and licked, the cats appear to be enjoying a rather wistful approach to the delicacies and would never be so tactless as to be seen to be over indulging their sweet tooth.

Whichever feline takes your fancy there are enough to create mirth and the occasional chuckle which will give all you cat lovers out there something to think about while making one of Linda Jane's beautifully painted puzzles. Colours are harmonious and distinct and are really quite subtle. Once such a puzzle is complete it deserves to be hung up on the wall.
