Sunday Afternoon - by Bob Pettes 500 Extra-Large piece Puzzle - 485mm x 345mm Box Dimensions 250mm x 250mm x 45mm Several years ago Gibsons puzzles decided to create a line of jigsaw puzzles whose Pièces were larger and more unique in order to accommodate those puzzlers who found the standard small jigsaw puzzle piece a bit too challenging. Gibsons created a line of 500 extra large piece puzzles which also have the added quality of being bright and containing well defined areas. The 500 piece extra large piece jigsaw puzzles are the same dimensions as a regular 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle. Bob Pettes' artistic talents were first discovered in grade school. He attended the Minneapolis InstiTête of Art before starting his carreer as a commercial artist and illustrator. Bob Pettes has developped a very distinct Americana style in his paintings which proved to be very popular amongst major galleries and also with publishers and gift manufacturers. It was a holiday in Europe that inspired Bob to focus his work on the quaintness of village life in England, France and Switzerland.
