Green and Pleasant land is a new 500 extra large (XL) piece jigsaw puzzle in the Gibsons puzzle catalog. It is a montage of the various aspects of the English countryside set in the recent past. There is a farmer ploughing his fields, a windmill as well as a lighthouse illuminating a safe route for the fishing boats sailing back to harbor. Ducks, swans and all types of fowl populate the scenes. Villages with thatched cottages may have been part of the british landscape but are virtually non-existent these days. A couple of riders allow their horses to enjoy the cooling waters of a stream and an old fashioned steam engine train crosses a stone bridge with a church spire in the background. The whole jigsaw puzzle is bathed in harmonious colors of pale blues, greens and yellows.
