Set in spring in a market garden, all the season's potted plants, flowers and shrubs are on display waiting for the eager gardener.A solitary cat sits on watch and several butterflies add to the springtime feeling of this beautifully designed jigsaw puzzle. Nancy's art career began at an early age thanks to her parents' gift of the big box of 128 Crayola crayons. In 1981 she graduated from Southampton College of Long Island University in Southampton, NY with a BFA degree. Following college she worked in illustration, had her own stained glass company and enjoyed many years as an assistant to a fashion jewelry design firm. Currently, Nancy works as a full-time artist and watercolor teacher. Her recent shows include a solo exhibit at Mistretta Galleries, Locust Valley and the juried fine are exhibit "Summer on Long Island" at the Long Island Museums at Stonybrook, NY.
