Catastrophe - by Linda Jane Smith

250 Larger Piece Puzzle - 440mm x 305mm

Box Dimensions

250mm x 250mm x 45mm

For 2009 Gibsons puzzles have introduced a new range of 250 piece jigsaw puzzles to their catalogue. The puzzle Pièces are 60% large than the standard puzzle piece size and are priced at an introductory level. For those not familiar with Gibsons jigsaw puzzle quality there is no easier way to enjoy the experience of the hottest jigsaw puzzles in the market.

Catastrophe continues a theme of Gibsons jigsaw puzzles where whimsical potrayals of animals (especially cats and dogs) are caught behaving somewhat like humans while the humans are away. The household has been overrun by a melange of mischevious cats and the single guard dog lies cowering under a small carpet. The enormous bathroom is the perfect playground for the troop.Sitting like Buddhas or playing with a roll of toilet paper or even taking a bath (imagine!) these cats seem extremely intelligent as they gently mock adult bahaviour.

Linda Jane Smith has always loved drawing and as a child she entered as many art competitions as she possible could. She eventually went on to study Graphic Design at Bournville College of Art in Birmingham, England. Her time there gave her the discipline to work very precisely and also the ability to settle down anywhere to paint. The work of Linda Jane Smith has progressed considerably since then enabling her to combine the two great loves of her life, cats and painting.
