Tracy Hall is an award-winning watercolour artist based in Scotland. Tracy specialises in everything from flowers to wildlife. She is both an illustrator and detours into miniature art whenever she can.


Tracy's paintings have been published in books and magazines and can now be found in the 2011 Gibsons jigsaw puzzle catalogue. Tracy also illustrates greeting cards and a variety of other licensed products. After discovering miniature art in 2007 a new and exciting chapter began, enabling her to balance commissioned work with something purely for herself.


Tracy works exclusively in watercolour, both transparent and opaque, an incredibly versatile medium. She work from life, photographs and imagination; more often than not all three in the same piece. The joy for Tracy lies in the little details and my job is a privilege and a constant learning curve - whatever the subject.

The title of this 1000 piece puzzle is Betty's Sweet Shop. Enormous glass jars full of delicious and colourful sweets fill the shelves behind Betty who is catering to an excited young customer under the watchful eye of his mum. A young girl clutching her teddy bear can only dream of the chocolate covered candy such as Mars Bars, Kit Kat and Smarties. Yum, yum!
