Bourton on the Water measures 68 x 49 centimeters when complete.

Bourton on the Water (G6072) is one of the few villages in a region with an architectural style all of its own such as steeply pitched roofs, stone mullions and dormer windows. Built almost exclusively in warm yellow Cotswold stone, this delightful village has such a unique appeal to visitors and residents alike. If you visit Bourton on the Water in the summer or winter it is sure to be packed with tourists and, one might say, all because it has a lovely stream running through the middle of it. There are several other delightful villages in the Cotswalds but without nearly as much traffic.

Regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England, Bourton-on-the-Water has more than its share of Cotswold houses and cottages, many of them three hundred years old, some dating back to Elizabethan times four hundred years ago.

This jigsaw puzzle scene has several children playing harmlessly in the shallow stream that runs through the village. Never more than a brook, the stream provides water to the massive elms and willows running along its bank. The Cotswold houses and eateries are all decked out in their summer blooms. A restored 20's era automobile painted British Racing Green is parked underneath what would have originally been a gaslight but that today runs on more mundane electricity.

There are many charming English villages in the vicinity which all claim a long heritage ans are built with Cotswold stone and slate. Nevertheless Bourton-on-the-Water's special claim to fame is the stream that runs right through the middle of the village.

The puzzle is made from 100% recycled premium puzzle board and can be made time and time again as if brand new. The puzzle measures 68 x 49 centimeters when complete.
